ROSE'S NEW ORLEANS PO-BOYS

Served on Leidenheimer French bread since 1986

All of our Po-Boys (except Meat Loaf) are dressed with lettuce, tomato pickles and your choice of sauce.

Available with additional small Creole salad or small fries in place of chips

Shrimp Po-Boy

Hand breaded wild caught medium-large gulf shrimp. Recommended sauce--Creole mayonnaise, cocktail sauce or tartar sauce

Roast Beef Po-Boy

The quintessential New Orleans po-boy. Slow cooked roast beef, sliced thin and served on Leidenheimer french bread lathered with mayonnaise and roast beef gravy. Recommended sauce---our fresh made mayonnaise or Creole mayonnaise.

Grilled Shrimp Po-Boy

Wild caught gulf shrimp, lightly seasoned and grilled, Recommended sauce...Creole mayonnaise.

Oyster Po-Boy

Plump Gulf oysters, hand breaded lightly and deep fried until golden. Recommended sauce---Creole Mayonnaise

Half & Half Po-Boy

Oysters and Shrimp, lightly hand breaded and deep fried until golden. Recommended sauce---Creole Mayonnaise.

Soft Shell Crab Po-Boy

A lightly breaded soft shell crab, deep fried until crisp on the edges, Recommended sauce---Creole mayonnaise or tartar sauce. Additional crab available.

Catfish Po-Boy

Catfish strips, hand breaded and fried until golden. Recommended sauces--- Creole mayonnaise or Tartar sauce

Chicken & Hot Pepper Cheese Po-Boy

A lightly seasoned grilled chicken breast with hot pepper cheese, grilled onions. Recommended sauce: Green Chile mayonnaise.

Hamburger Po-Boy

Two 3 oz. patties of fresh ground beef seasoned with our Creole seasonings, hand patted thin, then grilled until crisp on the edges. Topped with chopped grilled onions. Recommended sauce.--- Creole mayonnaise

Fried Potato Po-Boy

One of the po-boys created at Martin Brother's Restaurant in 1929 for customer's who couldn't afford meat. Fried potatoes on french bread with roast beef gravy and mayonnaise. 80 years later, it's still pretty darn good! Recommended sauce... our house made mayonnaise or Creole mayonnaise.

Grilled Andouille Sausage Po-Boy

Grilled Louisiana made(Opelousas, La.) Andouille sausage. Recommended sauce--Creole mayonnaise

Meat Loaf Po-Boy

Creole meat loaf with marinara sauce and grated Parmagianno Reggiano on Leidenheimer French bread. Recommended sauce---doesen't need one.

"The Peacemaker"

The po-boy that New Orleans' husbands brought home to make amends. A 16 to 18 " loaf with a dozen fried oysters dressed with remoulade slaw, pickles and Creole mayonnaise. Serves TWO or one very hungry oyster lover.

Wash it down with a cold bottle of Barq's root beer.
